Surf Dogs

Every September, the most wondrous event happens in San Diego, the annual Helen Woodward Animal Center Surf Dog-a-thon. I snapped these shots last fall while wading waist deep in the surf.

I love this little guy’s face. How can he be that expressive with so much fur?

This pup seemed just so resigned to his lot in life.

Most beautiful dogs. I want to bury my face in their fluffy coats.
