Nadine & Patrick's Crossings at Carlsbad Wedding
Nadine and Patrick are so sweet and tender with each other. And that love obviously extends to their family and friends, because their wedding at the Crossings at Carlsbad had guests who flew in from the other side of the country. There were heartwarming speeches, lots of laughs, a few tears, and overall a wonderful day.
Their wedding caught the first turn of autumn weather. It was a cozy, warm setting complete with roaring fireplace while cool drizzly skies softened the light to a lovely glow.
The stunning bride. Nadine's skin is flawless, and the soft light from the cloudy skies made her glow -- or maybe it was simply the joy of her wedding day.
I loved her mermaid dress. The airy fabric hugged in the right places, and opened up at the bottom in a flourish of ruffles.
The adorable wildflower decorations fit Nadine's bright, lighthearted nature, and brought in lovely pops of yellow, the wedding's signature color.
Both bride and groom shed tears when they first saw each other.
Due to the rain, the ceremony was held in the light-bathed restaurant at the Crossings at Carlsbad golf resort.
The gorgeous laughing bride.
The bouquet
I love the delicate touch of yellow on the wedding cake's flowers.
